Tom has been working with HBA since 2021 during which time he has become an accredited practitioner of Systems Leadership, whilst consulting to a selection of large mining organisations.

Tom’s consultancy work has included training new teams as they embark on a restart mining project. He has also worked with a number of small businesses to help them implement Systems Leadership principles and tools in their organisation.

Tom completed his Masters in Economics and Business Administration: Strategy, Organisation and Leadership at Copenhagen Business School, in Denmark. His thesis focused on the use of Systems Leadership principles in start-up businesses. Prior to business school, he studied at the University of Cape Town and at Monash South Africa where he graduated with a Batchelor of Business, Science and Psychology.
