Max works with organisations who want to develop their capability and culture.

Max has over 15 years doing this with organisations in sectors including transport, major infrastructure and construction, mining, and financial services.

An early career in curriculum design taught Max the importance of including human empathy into the design process of any successful intervention by an organisation. This ability to understand individual’s perspectives, is now underpinned by the modelling within Systems Leadership Theory, which Max uses in his current role as a People & Organisations consultant for Arup, a large sustainability and engineering consultancy.

In this role Max has carried out strategic capability assessment and knowledge transfer interventions, culture audits and targeted leadership development. Max has also helped introduce Systems Leadership to his colleagues at Arup who recognise the value of the materials in addressing the complexity of the challenges their clients tend to face.
