David Dadswell has been the Diocesan Secretary of the Diocese of Lincoln in the UK since 2018.

For over twenty years before that he worked as a consultant with commercial concerns such as resources, utilities, pharmaceuticals, and financial institutions, public bodies such as universities, schools gand local authorities and voluntary organisations such as local and national churches, mental health charities and housing associations. He has worked in organisations in USA, Canada, Germany, Australia, Russia, Thailand, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

After a career in church and higher education work, he joined Macdonald Associates Consultancy in 1996 as General Manager and then Chief Operating Officer, Director and Principal, moving on in 2009 to run his own consultancy business.

He has taught consultancy in church and community settings at Masters level in various institutions for over twenty years. He is a residentiary canon of Lincoln Cathedral.
